Manager - Sourcing & Vendor Development

Your Role

• Identifying, evaluating, and selecting suppliers for various Customised Solutions & Automation Components (e.g., PLCs, Sensors, Robotics, Software). This involves contract negotiation keeping the deliverables (towards quality, cost & time) in mind.
• Planning and overseeing the technical integration of solutions on the Project Shopfloor thereby ensuring safety and timely installations of the systems alongside Project Management team.
• Driving initiatives to automate the sourcing and procurement processes to enhance efficiency and compliance.
• Leading and coordinating from planning through implementation, managing timelines & tracking the budget.
• Working with cross functional teams eg. Proposals, Project Management & Design to understand requirements and ensure alignment.
• Working with stakeholders eg. Sales, Marketing, EXIM, Logistics & Finance to meet necessary expectations towards related deliverables.
• Ensure all sourcing activities comply to organisation’s way of working
• Monitor supplier performance to guarantee the delivery of quality products and services.
• Team player by helping the team make informed decisions that align with DESOUTTER’s overall objectives.

Qualification, Experience & Skills:

B.E/ B.Tech. in Mechanical or Electrical. Extensive work experience (min. 12-14 years) in the fields of Purchase, Sourcing, Project Management & Integration activities of Special Purpose machines and Automation Solutions for tightening applications.
