As National Sales Manager you will be responsible for driving the successful deployment and growth of the brand in India. You will contribute directly to sustainable and profitable growth by developing channels, expanding market coverage, driving market penetration, and ensuring execution of the business plan.

 

Working closely with the Business Line Manager, Product Marketing, CTS teams, and Regional Sales Managers, you will play a key role in establishing Brand in India in compressor segment.

As National Sales Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the future growth of the Industrial Air Division in India.

Your day-to-day

In this role, you will:

 

  • Execute the business plan and achieve agreed Targets
  • Execute growth plans and drive market share expansion.
  • Develop and manage the complete channel ecosystem
  • Drive conversion of competitor dealer networks & develop OEM Business
  • Work with Marketing to provide market intelligence, product recommendations, and competitive insights.
  • Support Marketing in executing digital campaigns, and lead-generation programs.
  • Establish dashboards and performance reviews to ensure timely execution of business plans and growth initiatives.
  • Recommend organizational, channel, and coverage improvements to accelerate growth across India.
  • Build a high-performance, customer-focused culture aligned with Atlas Copco Group values and behaviours.

Your skills and experience

  • Degree in Engineering & MBA preferred.
  • 12 ~15 years of experience in Compressor sales 
  • Strong experience in indirect channel management and business development.
  • Experience in developing distributor networks and long-term channel partnerships.
  • Strong customer and business-oriented mindset with a passion for market development.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate across functions.
  • Strong digital capabilities, including Microsoft Office tools and Power BI.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across India.
