Your Role
Job description:
- Work towards the mission of Power Technique Service (PTS) by supporting an efficient, agile, and service-driven organization
- Promote and maintain safety compliance, including audits, near-miss reporting, and zero-incident culture across all activities
- Maintain 5S standards to ensure efficient, safe, and organized workshop operations
- Ensure all equipment is safe, properly maintained, calibrated, and fit for operation
- Perform machine dismantling, overhaul, and reassembly as per Repower process
- Execute engine repairs and component-level work independently
- Support element reconditioning and compressor refurbishment within defined timelines
- Execute assigned jobs independently with minimal supervision
- Ensure correct fitment and readiness of components for assembly,
- Ensure on-time completion of jobs as per plan and effectively monitor work-in-progress (WIP) to maintain smooth job flow and avoid delays
- Ensure availability of required parts before job execution and minimize delays due to material shortages
- Support initiatives to improve productivity, quality, and turnaround time (TAT)
- Identify and close defects while ensuring first-time-right quality with minimal rework
- Assist in root cause analysis (RCA) and failure analysis for repower issues
- Perform incoming inspection of old core units, in-process checks, and final inspection as per checklist
- Support effective utilization of old core components
- Follow CHICHO process and workshop SOPs with strict adherence to workflow sequence
- Maintain job documentation, material tracking, and workshop records for traceability.
- Ensure accurate and timely system updates for job closure and audit compliance
- Ensure effective utilization of resources, including manpower, tools, and workstations
- Support new development initiatives including process improvements, tooling enhancements, and workshop capability upgrades
- Participate in hands-on training and continuously build competency in engine, electrical, element and repower processes
To succeed, you will need
Knowledge:
- 2-5 Years’ experience in handling Aftermarket / Field service.
- Service handling in construction/Mining industries will be an added advantage.
- Good knowledge on Air compressors, Engines will be preferred.

Awareness of workshop practices, quality standards, and parts/component handling
Personality Requirements:
- Excellent communicator with an open-minded attitude
- Energetic, enthusiastic and has the experience of meeting process centric and operational efficiency.
