Your Role

Job description:

  • Work towards the Mission statement provided for Power Technique Service (PTS) Division
  • The Individual should bear positive attitude to make an efficient, agile and service driven organization
  • The individual should ensure total Customer satisfaction generate the feel-good factor and driving customer delight,  
  • Provide quality after sales technical support to Regional Service teams & customers for all Power Technique products.
  • Provide on-site technical support for complex technical issues, inspections, and critical breakdown cases.
  • Actively support resolution of technical problems by coordinating between Product Companies (PC), ENGINE team (OEM’s) and field service teams, achieving timely completion of service issues within MTTR
  • Provide technical support to Sales and Marketing teams for product positioning, trials, and customer engagements.
  • Handle warranty claims for all Power Technique products.
  • Perform TECO Confirmation of Field service engineer SJA jobs and follow up Fixed Price Repair (FC/OH) jobs ,
  • Responsible for Service Variance & Recovery as per policy for all the applicable jobs booked by FSE
  • Ensure warranty cost reimbursement from respective Product Companies and perform regular monitoring.
  • Analyse failures, concerns, and trends, and share constructive product quality feedback with Product Companies, ensuring 100% QLINK registration.
  • Provide feedback on prototypes sent for field trials and build strong working relationships with PC teams.
  • Implement ECBs, SB & Technical Changes as per PC Guidelines at field level
  • Ensure all teams are continuously updated on Safety news, Service bulletins, Product development updates
  • Promote safety awareness and compliance across all service activities.
  • Conduct technical training programs for field service engineers, Dealer FSE, Operators & maintenance team
  • Conduct in-house training for key customers, design & deliver tailor made training program
  • Implement and manage competency grading systems for Service Engineers based on skill levels.
  • Ensure continuous improvement in service competency and technical capability across the service network.
  • Work closely with Parts Marketing and Logistics teams in inventory management and availability planning.
  • Support regions in conducting Road shows, Service camps in assigned markets.
  • Focus on all the service parameters & stay aligned to the target defined
  • Enhance Repower Workshop output as per committed plans, capacity, and timelines
  • Drive Best practices and Improvement initiatives ensuring process stabilization in Repower Workshop activities
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, quality, turnaround time (TAT)
  • Implement and sustain CHICHO process as defined
  • Monitor process adherence and close gaps through corrective actions
  • Establish and monitor Old Core Inspection process, including Incoming inspection standards, Acceptance / rejection criteria, Documentation and traceability
  • Improve process flow and sequence to reduce delays and rework
  • Provide technical guidance to workshop teams during engine / main component repower activities
  • Ensure quality compliance as per guidelines
  • Support failure analysis and root cause analysis (RCA) for repower-related issues
  • Support parts planning, critical component availability, and bottleneck resolution in coordination with Parts & Logistics

 
To succeed, you will need  

Knowledge:

  • 5-8 Years’ experience in handling Aftermarket / Field service.
  • Service handling in construction/Mining industries will be an added advantage.
  • Good knowledge on Air compressors, Engines will be preferred.
