Project Engineer

As a Project Engineer, your mission is to enhance project execution efficiency and deliver superior customer experience by managing projects end-to-end, ensuring timely completion, safety compliance, and effective stakeholder coordination.. You will report to Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Engagement & Relationship Management
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers, consultants, factories, and suppliers.
• Build strong customer relationships by managing expectations, resolving escalations, and obtaining feedback.
  Project Execution & Management
  •    Handle complete project lifecycle from order handover to commissioning.
  •    Ensure adherence to contractual deadlines and safety standards.
  •    Monitor project progress against schedules and milestones; provide early warnings for potential delays.
  •    Keep management informed on high-level project execution aspects.
  Documentation & Compliance
  •    Maintain detailed project files and records in the common server and Project Management System.
  •    Prepare and submit engineering documents as per MDL; follow up for timely approvals.
  •    Review customer and supplier documents for technical and commercial compliance.
  Coordination & Technical Support
  •    Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and factories for smooth execution.
  •    Provide inputs for procurement and manage budgets and schedules.
  •    Attend technical meetings to resolve queries and finalize approvals.
  •    Prepare Bill of Materials and engineering support activities as per contract.
  Process Improvement
  •    Strengthen project engineering processes for every project.
  •    Ensure adherence to standardized procedures for project execution.
  Travel
  •    Visit customer premises or vendor locations as required for project execution

To succeed, you will need

•    Strong project management and coordination skills.
•    Ability to interpret technical requirements and convert them into actionable documents. 
•    Prepare RFQ’s for procurement of equipment required for project. Understand the selection process of equipment such as pressure/temperature gauge, pressure/temperature/flow transmitters, Valves, Pumps, Cooling towers, Junction Box/Isolation panel, Electrical distribution panel, understanding on PLC’s, Cables. 
•    Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
•    Knowledge of safety compliance and contractual obligations.
•    Proficiency in project documentation and engineering processes.
•    Technical Knowledge on reading P&ID, GA Drawings, Isometric drawings.
