Project Engineer - Master Scheduling

Your role
As a Project Engineer - Master Scheduling, your mission is to proactively manage start to end activity of our projects and to fulfil the ambitious targets of Gas and Process Application team. You will report to [National technical Manager].
Job Responsibilities

Develop and manage an integrated master schedule for all projects or operations, considering dependencies, constraints, and resource availability.

Collaborate with project managers, sourcing, production, and stakeholders to understand project requirements, objectives, and milestones.

Identify and assess risks, issues, and conflicts that may impact the schedule, and develop mitigation plans.

Regularly update and maintain the master schedule by incorporating changes, updates, and adjustments as necessary.

Monitor project progress and identify any deviations from the schedule, taking proactive measures to address delays or other issues.

Organize regular meetings with project stakeholders to present the schedule and highlight risks.

Conduct regular meetings and discussions with project teams to review and analyze project status, identify bottlenecks, and recommend solutions.

Provide accurate and timely reports, dashboards, and visualizations that communicate project status, key metrics, and performance indicators to management and stakeholders.

Continuously improve scheduling processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Train and mentor project and other team members on best practices for schedule management and adherence.

Collaborate with procurement and resource management teams to ensure alignment between the schedule and resource allocation.

Possess strong knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and tools.

Demonstrate the ability to manage complex schedules in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Exhibit exceptional organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Be conversant with and work in conjunction with all ISO Standards and Atlas Copco SHE guidelines.
To succeed, you will need
Experience Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience required as a Project Engineer / Manager or as a Master Scheduler, preferably in a project-based environment.
Experience in scheduling/planning in a customized product manufacturing industry will be an added advantage.
Knowledge:

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi.

Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, and SAP to develop and manage schedules.

Thorough knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.

In-depth knowledge of the scope of projects within the industry.

Certification in project management, such as PMP (Project Management Professional), is desirable.
Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
