Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage and drive the ongoing governance and lifecycle management of the Planisware platform across divisions.
  • Apply strong PMO practices, including budget oversight, planning, reporting, and risk management.
  • Maintain and evolve platform roadmaps aligned with business priorities and strategic objectives.
  • Ensure value realization through structured tracking of benefits, risks, and dependencies.

2. Stakeholder, Governance & Organizational Alignment

  • Act as the primary interface across divisions, Product Companies, business controllers, IT, and partners.
  • Drive alignment in a complex, decentralized organization, proactively influencing and delivering results across functions.
  • Lead governance structures including decision forums, escalation mechanisms, and approval processes.
  • Provide structured updates to Steering Committees on platform performance, risks, and improvement initiatives.

3. Cross‑Divisional & International Collaboration

  • Work closely with multiple Product Companies and decentralized engineering organizations.
  • Leverage international exposure and cultural awareness to drive alignment across geographies.
  • Harmonize ways of working while respecting local business needs and maturity levels.

4. Functional Ownership & Methodology Alignment (Planisware + CtP 2.0)

  • Own the functional alignment of Planisware with Atlas Copco project management practices.
  • Ensure integration and adherence to CtP 2.0 engineering project methodology as a core foundation.
  • Drive standardization of processes, templates, and reporting structures within Planisware.
  • Balance global standards with controlled flexibility across divisions.

5. Adoption, Value Realization & Continuous Improvement

  • Drive sustained adoption and usage maturity of Planisware across divisions.
  • Monitor adoption metrics, user engagement, and feedback loops.
  • Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives, enhancing platform usability and business value.
  • Ensure ongoing knowledge enablement training and refresher sessions and capability building.

6. Platform Governance & Support

  • Establish and lead Platform Governance frameworks, including usage guidelines, compliance, and process ownership.
  • Define and manage first-line platform support model, ensuring timely issue resolution and user assistance.
  • Oversee platform stability, performance, and ongoing optimization.
  • Drive platform maturity roadmap and long-term sustainability.

7. Vendor, Partner & Budget Management

  • Manage collaboration with Planisware and partners ensuring structured delivery and accountability.
  • Monitor platform-related budgets, ensuring transparency and proactive management of risks.
  • Ensure service quality and contractual commitments are consistently met.

To succeed, you will need 

Experience & Skill Requirements

Educational Requirements

  • BE / B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation / Computer Engineering or equivalent

Professional Experience

  • 6–10+ years of experience in managing enterprise platforms, governance, or digital transformation programs
  • Proven project management track record with strong PMO exposure (budget, planning, reporting, risk management)
  • Experience in Project Management environments.
  • Strong exposure to cross‑divisional and decentralized organizational setups
  • Experience working with multiple Product Companies
  • Exposure to international environments and multicultural collaboration
  • Experience in engineering environments; familiarity with CtP 2.0 methodology (preferred)
  • Strong ability to drive stakeholder alignment, governance, and sustained adoption
  • Experience working with SaaS platforms and external vendors

     

    Software & Tool Knowledge

    • Strong exposure to Planisware or similar PPM / SaaS platforms.
    • Experience with project or project portfolio management software.
    • Experience with and understanding of SaaS concepts.
    • Experience with Microsoft Project Online / Project Server, SharePoint, Power BI is an advantage
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word
