Job description/ Mission
Maintaining robust Quality Assurance systems and processes for the Industrial Technique India Customer Centre- ACI and ECI divisions.
Supporting internal teams in meeting ITBA product compliance requirements such as BIS, WPC, EPR, and DGFT, to ensure seamless operations and minimal business impact.
Below are the responsibilities for quality role in ACTA & CPI Application centres
- Collaborate with Sourcing, Engineering, and Workshop teams to develop and maintain supplier quality processes for ACTA & CPI operations.
- Conduct periodic audits of existing and new suppliers/MTBs as per AC guidelines.
- · Participate in customer inspections and ensure timely closure of comments.
- · Engage early in projects to address quality and safety requirements.
- · Verify quality documents from MTBs and suppliers.
- · Drive continuous improvement through Kaizen initiatives.
- · Investigate quality issues and implement quick resolutions.
- · Visit MTBs and suppliers to ensure machines meet quality standards.
- · Prepare and maintain key quality documents (COPQ reports, deviation notes, compliance records).
- · Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions.
- · Support customer safety audits and ensure compliance with standards.
- · Ensure adherence to ISO and internal quality standards across processes
Below are the product compliance responsibilities for ITBA
- · Coordinate with consultants and internal teams to ensure compliance for products and spares (BIS, WPC, EPR, DGFT).
- · Identify compliance requirements early and guide teams on applicable BIS schemes.
- · Maintain records of certifications, approvals, and compliance communications.
- · Act as the primary contact for consultants and manage certification processes.
- · Prepare process flow documentation and update BIS SharePoint for Scheme X.
- · Support documentation and sample testing for BIS/WPC certifications.
- · Ensure timely EPR filings for batteries, tools, e-waste, and plastics.
- · Identify and negotiate with new consultants for cost-effective compliance solutions.
- · Provide regular compliance status updates to management.
To succeed, you will need
Qualification : B.E mechanical
Experience : 4 to 5 years of experience.
Prior experience of working with ITBA products and knowledge of the various compliance as well as documentation requirements is necessary.
