Scrum Master and Business Analyst

Atlas Copco (India) Private Ltd., a distinguished member of the Atlas Copco Group, is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Scrum Master and Business Analyst to join our Global IT Hub, within the Apps & Software Department. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a forward-thinking multinational environment passionate about innovative software design and development.

About the Role

As a Scrum Master and Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating Agile ceremonies and ensuring seamless collaboration across multiple teams. You will drive the Agile process by preparing for Sprint and Program Increment (PI) Planning, coordinating with Product and Solution Management, Product Owners, and various stakeholders. Your expertise in Agile frameworks and tools will empower teams to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with strategic goals.

• Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, PI Planning readiness, Scrum of Scrums, and ART sync meetings promoting alignment across teams and value streams.
• Manage and maintain backlogs in collaboration with Product Owners, ensuring clarity and prioritization of features and capabilities.
• Utilize Agile project management tools such as Azure DevOps and Jira for tracking progress, reporting burn-down charts, and communicating status transparently to all stakeholders.
• Support tracking execution of features and capabilities, offering meaningful insights and risk assessments to customers and leadership.
• Foster continuous improvement by leading Inspect and Adapt workshops and assessing the agility maturity of teams, ARTs, and Solution Trains.
• Champion built-in quality practices, conducting peer code reviews and mentoring team members to maintain high standards of deliverables.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams ensuring alignment between the business requirements and technical execution.
• Prepare capacity plans, identify potential risks early, and communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Act as a subject matter expert for your assigned domain, providing guidance and best practices to junior team members and stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field from a reputable university.
• Minimum of 5+ years combined experience in Agile Scrum Master and Business Analyst roles, demonstrating a solid understanding of both disciplines.
• Proven experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies including hands-on use of Jira, Git, and Gherkin/Cucumber testing frameworks.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and experience handling multi-disciplinary teams with diverse competencies.
• A passion for AI-enabled software solutions, modern web applications, and a genuine interest in leveraging emerging technologies.
• Exceptional facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills capable of encouraging team engagement and collaboration.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment and to drive continuous improvements based on feedback and metrics.
