Senior Engineer - Industrial Engineering

Your role

To implement and establishing methods for improving operations and controlling production costs. You have to develop ways of reducing manufacturing waste and costs, estimate work content and cycle times. Additionally, you will contribute to Industrial engineering competence development activity

Drive continuous improvement activities in quality, cycle times, cost reduction and process improvement through lean techniques value engineering to enhance the capability of existing processes and waste prevention.Should work on Line and plant design projects.

The detail scope involves -

• • • Process Engineering
      • Component Mapping & classification and Process flow diagram.
      • Sequence of Assembly Process, Preparation of digital (animated) product assembly sequence
      • Process optimization and Line Balancing
      • Station design, Line Design , Plant design, cycle time calculation
      • Process documentation-Process Flow, Work Instructions, Method sheets, Value stream Mapping, PFMEA
    • Equipment Planning
      • Identify various equipment’s to perform the required assembly operations
      • Develop equipment concepts from basic and finalize specifications of product & production requirements.
    • In-plant Logistics
      • Define Stores capacity
      • Planning of material supply method and design of Material Handling Process.
      • Define line side logistic, Proposals for material feeding, number of kits, Line side cluster trollies, storage pallets, bins. Predefine storage locations based on product volumes and daily consumption
    • Layout Configuration
      • Prepare 3d/2d GA drawing for layout.
      • Prepare drawings giving details of placements of all the equipment’s and parts.     
      • Prepare detail layout, which include assembly line, line side logistic, human position at station, Equipment position.
      • Virtual 3d Mockups of layout and adding BIM/ RIVET data is preferred
    • Time study analysis
      • MOST Analysis:  Detailed Activity Mapping of all the operations in scope, Mapping human activity, Analysis of human ergonomic, Discrete event simulation
      • AVIX Time study analysis
      • VA and NVA activity mapping and analysis
      • MTM time analysis.                                         

To succeed, you will need

Experience requirements:

Education:

• • Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Industrial Engineering/ production Engineering with 6 to 8 years of experience

Knowledge:

• • Experience in Methods engineering.
  • Shop floor experience in managing assembly lines.
  • Experience in virtual production line development projects.
  • Experience on 3D modeling CAD system, Visual mock up of 3D layouts
  • Knowledge of Avix, MOST, MTM standard
  • Knowledge of Simulation software Flex Sim
  • Knowledge of Warehouse management, Inbound Outbound logisticsand MES systems are prefered.

Job location
