Senior / Lead Instrumentation Design Engineer

Your Role
We are looking for an experienced Sr. Design Engineer / Lead Instrumentation Engineer to lead instrumentation engineering activities for compressor packages and process systems. The role involves preparation and review of instrumentation design deliverables, customer and vendor coordination, technical leadership, and support through project execution, testing, and commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review instrumentation engineering documents, specifications, and design deliverables.
- Develop P&IDs, instrument hook-up drawings, loop diagrams, control narratives, logic diagrams, I/O lists, cable schedules, and BOMs.
- Perform instrument sizing, selection, and control system design in compliance with IEC, ISA, UL, API, ATEX, IECEx, and other international standards.
- Design and review PLC-based control systems, panel layouts, electrical wiring, and communication interfaces.
- Participate in Kick-off Meetings, Design Reviews, HAZOP, SIL studies, FAT, SAT, and customer review meetings.
- Review vendor offers, provide technical evaluations, and support procurement activities.
- Mentor junior engineers and ensure timely delivery of quality engineering documentation.
- Provide technical support during manufacturing, commissioning, start-up, and troubleshooting activities.
- Coordinate effectively with customers, vendors, and cross-functional teams on multiple projects.
To Suceed, You will need
- Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation Engineering.
- 4-8 years of experience in Instrumentation Design Engineering.
- Experience in Compressor Packages, Oil & Gas, Process Plants, Rotating Equipment, or Industrial Projects.
