Your role

PLC & Control Systems: Design, program, and maintain control systems using platforms like Siemens, Rockwell, Allen and Bradley; Beckhoff, and Schneider.
HMI/SCADA Integration: Develop and implement user interfaces for automated systems.
Communication Protocols: Configure protocols including Modbus, Profibus, CAN J1939, PROFINET, EtherCAT, and AS-I.
Documentation & Compliance: Create technical docs (logic diagrams, I/O lists) and ensure safety standards (e.g., SIL, ISO 13849).
System Testing & Commissioning: Conduct FAT/SAT, on-site installation, debugging, and technical support globally.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Interface with clients, consultants, and teams to align project goals and technical specs.
Project Management: Oversee budgets, timelines, and quality assurance for automation projects.
Technology & Tools: Apply programming skills (Python, C/C++, Excel VBA, SQL Server) and use GIT for version control.
Industry 4.0 & IIoT: Stay ahead of trends and contribute to continuous improvement.
Field Equipment Experience: Work with instruments like sensors, flowmeters, and vacuum pumps.
Training: Capable of training peers, 3rd parties and customers

To succeed, you will need

Bachelors degree in Electrical, Electronics, Electronics & Telecommunication, Mechatronics or related engineering field.
7+ years proven experience in PLC programming and industrial automation
Proficient in developing automation solutions using PLC, HMI, and SCADA platforms including Siemens TIA Portal, Beckhoff TwinCAT, Rockwell RSLogix, and Schneider Machine Expert.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Certification such as Project Management Professional preferred
Excellent knowledge of machine mechanics, a logical approach, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Knowledge of software design principals, including Siemens/AllenBradley/Fanuc/ABB/Rockwell programming a plus
Proficiency in CAD and AutoCAD software for PID, PFD, Wiring diagrams and control logic diagrams
Experience of managing a commissioning teams onsite a benefit
