Your role

Join Atlas Copco as a Senior Software Developer and become a key member of our dedicated, skilled, and collaborative development team. You will play a critical role in advancing ALTURE, our innovative cloud-based Data Driven Services product suite that empowers customers to enhance efficiency, safety, quality, speed, and sustainability. Working in close alignment with market experts, sales teams, and customers, you will contribute from concept through delivery, ensuring the creation and ongoing improvement of high-quality, scalable software solutions within an agile product development environment.

• Lead the technical analysis of project requirements, providing expert guidance and driving technical decisions to fulfill business goals effectively.
• Deliver scalable, maintainable, and performant software solutions by leveraging strong problem-solving abilities to address complex challenges.
• Oversee the complete software development lifecycle for assigned projects, ensuring delivery within agreed timelines while maintaining high standards of code quality and application performance.
• Engage proactively with customers and key stakeholders to capture and refine requirements, translating business needs into actionable technical solutions.
• Collaborate closely with Application Owners and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and end-to-end management of application processes and development efforts.
• Develop comprehensive technical and functional documentation, including application guides and release notes, to support the maintenance and evolution of software products.
• Provide mentorship and technical support to colleagues and team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the team.

To succeed, you will need

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related technical field.
• Minimum of 6 years of extensive, hands-on experience in application development with solid expertise in designing and implementing robust software solutions.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies such as React, Angular, HTML, CSS, and TypeScript/JavaScript is an asset.
• Strong backend development skills, particularly with C#.NET, .NET Core, ASP.NET Web API, Dapper, microservices architecture, and event-driven systems using Kafka.
• Experience working with relational databases (MSSQL) and NoSQL/datastore options like Table Storage, Blob Storage, and Cosmos DB.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices including Git repositories, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization technologies.
• Knowledge of developing cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure utilizing serverless architecture and cloud infrastructure best practices.
• Excellent understanding of software design principles including OOP, SOLID principles, design patterns, and development best practices.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills complemented by effective English communication—both verbal and written.
• Proven ability to balance rapid delivery with maintaining and managing technical debt appropriately.
• Demonstrated collaboration skills and a team-oriented mindset, with willingness to support and elevate team performance.

This position is based in Pune, India, and offers a hybrid working model.
