Senior Software Engineer

Your role

Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop scalable and secure full-stack web solutions for UI/HMI interfaces.
• Participate in technical design discussions, propose robust architecture, Code Reviews and guide the team on best practices.
• Ensure seamless communication between frontend and backend services running on Web and embedded platforms.
• Design and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable APIs in Python.
• Build user-friendly and high-performance frontends using ReactJS and modern UI frameworks.
• Integrate industrial communication protocols such as ModbusTCP and MQTT
• Collaborate with product owners, embedded engineers, testers, and UI/UX designers.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and ensure alignment with quality standards.
• Stay updated with new technologies, tools, and trends in software and embedded development.
• Contribute to team capability development.

To succeed, you will need

Bachelor’s / Master’s in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.
• 3 - 5 years of full-stack development experience
• Advanced proficiency in ReactJS frontend and Python backend development.
• Experience building web applications hosted on embedded hardware platforms.
• Familiarity with Git, Docker, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of application-level security and authentication protocols (OAuth, JWT).
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team leadership skills.
• Strong organizational habits and a continuous improvement mindset.

Job location

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our Atlas Copco Group  (GECIA)in Pune, India.
