Senior Software Engineer - SharePoint

Your role

As a Senior Software Engineer specializing in SharePoint within our Global IT Hub, you will be instrumental in shaping the digital workspace experience for our organization. This role encompasses the comprehensive development, enhancement, and ongoing support of SharePoint Online solutions aligned with business needs and industry standards. You will harness both out-of-the-box functionalities and advanced customizations utilizing SPFx, Power Automate, Power Apps, REACT, and REST APIs to craft scalable, secure, and user-centric applications. Your responsibilities will include migrating content efficiently using tools like Sharegate, resolving complex break/fix issues promptly, and ensuring seamless user experience through expert support services aligned with ITSM frameworks.

Key duties involve collaborating across agile teams to design innovative SharePoint solutions, troubleshooting workflows and custom forms leveraging your expertise in jQuery, REACT, and SPFx, and crafting PowerShell scripts to automate routine operational tasks. You will also manage permission structures, site taxonomy, and web part configurations to maintain a coherent SharePoint architecture that supports organizational goals. Crucially, your effective communication with stakeholders and technical teams using accessible language will facilitate smooth project delivery and adoption.

In addition to technical execution, you will own the continuous improvement of our SharePoint environment by maintaining version-controlled repositories, enforcing security protocols, optimizing performance, and driving automation to reduce manual workloads.
