Your role

As a Solution Architect at Atlas Copco, you will play a pivotal role in envisioning and crafting sophisticated software solutions that address complex business challenges. Your expertise in .NET development and cloud technologies will empower you to design scalable, resilient architectures using Azure, AWS, and GCP platforms. This position demands a comprehensive understanding of database systems and modern software engineering methodologies.

Your primary responsibilities encompass:

• Architecting scalable enterprise software solutions: craft robust systems that leverage .NET frameworks, cloud-native services, and optimal database technologies to ensure performance and reliability at scale.
• Leading architecture design initiatives: spearhead the conceptualization and development of new applications, system integrations, and legacy modernization projects, balancing innovation with business objectives.
• Engaging collaboratively with stakeholders: interpret complex business requirements and translate them into clear, actionable technical architectures and roadmaps.
• Establishing technical standards: set organization-wide guidelines for software development, deployment pipelines, and operational excellence ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Mentoring and guiding development teams: provide technical leadership throughout the software delivery lifecycle to ensure adherence to architecture and best practices.
• Evaluating emerging technology trends: assess new tools, platforms, and methodologies to continually enhance our technology stack and product capabilities.
• Ensuring governance and compliance: uphold enterprise architecture principles, security standards, and regulatory compliance within all implemented solutions.
• Driving cloud migration efforts: lead comprehensive on-premises to cloud transitions with focus on cost optimization and operational efficiency.
• Commitment to professional growth: continuously refine your skills and knowledge of leading technologies such as Azure DevOps and container orchestration to stay at the forefront of industry developments.

Additional competencies include an adeptness with microservices architectures, container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, API management, and a hands-on approach in DevOps practices to streamline deliveries.

• Educational Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or equivalent credentials are highly valued.
