Sr Network Engineer -IT Ops -EMEA

Your role

Together with your colleagues in the support team, you will ensure the stability & compliance of the infrastructure and services related to the network solutions (LAN, WLAN, WAN, …)

By pro-actively improving and checking the environment, the team and you prevent outages and as such, prevent impact on the users & applications.

Incidents and standard requests will be handled according to the agreed SLA and with the necessary attention to quality and communication.

You will apply the rules around change management to ensure changes are documented, communicated and performed in a controlled way.

Through the configuration management process, you ensure we have a full inventory of the assets and components involved in the services.

You secure the compliance of our network components by following up on the agreed patching and lifecycle process.

You will be closely involved in the delivery of the network related project and will take the lead in some smaller initiatives or projects.

To succeed, you will need

Experience

• + 5 years of experience working for a large enterprise

You have a broad knowledge in:

• Cisco LAN & WLAN technologies
• WAN: both MPLS & SDWAN
• General network knowledge: Routing, Subnetting, VLAN, SNMP etc.
• Ideally also knowledge of routing protocols such as EIGRP, OSPF, BGP etc.
• Z-Scaler
• External DNS and PKI certificates

Educational Requirements

• An Engineering graduate or equivalent
• You are passionate about technology and more specific technologies around network
• Fluency in English, spoken and written is a must
• ITIL Certification
• Technology certifications are a plus

Job location

Option 1: Hybrid
This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our Atlas Copco in Pune, Hinjewadi Phase 1.
