Role of a Team Leader

As a Team Leader within the Global IT Hub in Pune, India, you will spearhead our product teams to deliver innovative, high-impact software projects that drive the organization's digital transformation initiatives. Your leadership will be essential to nurtur e a culture of excellence, fostering collaboration, creativity, and a relentless focus on quality.

Your mission is to champion the adoption of modern application technologies and Agile methodologies, guiding your team through the complete software development lifecycle—from conceptual design to deployment and ongoing support. Leveraging your expertise in full-stack development and Microsoft ecosystem integrations, you will ensure scalable and secure enterprise solutions that meet evolving business requirements.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Lead and manage multiple concurrent projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, effective resource allocation, and timely delivery within budget constraints.
• Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Scrum Masters, and stakeholders to translate business needs into robust technical designs and actionable development plans.
• Mentor and coach team members, promoting continuous skill enhancement and fostering an inclusive environment that nurtures growth and engagement.
• Drive operational excellence through established governance practices, KPI monitoring, and iterative process improvements that enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.
• Promote innovation by researching emerging technologies, advocating AI-enabled development practices, and integrating cutting-edge tools such as Microsoft Copilot to boost productivity.
• Develop and maintain strong partnerships within the technology ecosystem including academia, startups, and business units to ensure ongoing capability enhancement and solution relevance.
• Champion software security and compliance by embedding best practices in secure coding, access control, and data protection across all deliverables.

To succeed, you will need

Experience Requirement:

• Preferably 10+ years of experience in software development or data engineering, with proven success in similar team leadership roles.
• Strong people management and leadership skills, with experience in building, developing, and optimizing large teams in the specified competence area.
• Hands-on technical expertise in relevant technologies, including programming languages, database design, and Azure, supported by strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field; a master’s degree and relevant certifications are an advantage.
