Your Role

As a Team Leader for Group Applications at Atlas Copco, you will take a central leadership role in driving the successful delivery of multiple complex IT projects and initiatives spanning across the global organization. Your leadership is pivotal in ensuring alignment with Atlas Copco's strategic objectives while fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and operational excellence within the Global IT Hub.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Team Leadership & Delivery Oversight: Lead, inspire, and mentor a diverse team of developers, analysts, and solution architects equipped with strong technical capabilities across multiple platforms. Ensure robust management of project timelines, deliverables, and quality benchmarks to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Strategic Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively by prioritizing workloads and swiftly resolving any operational or technical issues, leveraging AI-driven project management and analytical tools to enhance team productivity and project visibility.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the main liaison for business users and stakeholders, cultivating productive relationships and ensuring clear understanding of project objectives, risks, and benefits. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and business process owners to guarantee integrated and efficient solution delivery.
• People Development & Talent Management: Attract, nurture, and retain high-calibre talent by providing coaching, mentorship, and career development opportunities. Conduct regular talent reviews and succession planning to build resilient teams prepared for evolving business challenges.
• Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Champion a culture of ongoing process refinement through digital automation and citizen development initiatives. Encourage adoption of reusable solutions and best practices to accelerate innovation and scalability across projects.
• Governance & Compliance: Uphold rigorous governance standards around data security, access control, and audit readiness, ensuring all activities comply with internal policies and external regulations while embedding operational excellence.

In this role, your leadership will not only drive operational success but also empower teams to embrace emerging technologies and adapt seamlessly to the digital transformation journey at Atlas Copco.

To succeed, you will need

• A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Over 10 years of progressive experience in IT, including at least 2-3 years in leadership or managerial roles.
• Preferred certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile methodologies, or equivalent project management qualifications.
• Proven expertise in Agile delivery frameworks and familiarity with modern DevSecOps practices.
• Strong technical background with deep knowledge of programming languages (especially 1-2 core languages), .NET technologies, full-stack development, and software design principles including microservices and API architecture.
• Experience with cloud engineering, CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions), infrastructure as code (Terraform, Bicep), security practices, and monitoring solutions.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to manage team dynamics, resolve conflicts, and engage stakeholders at all levels.
