We are looking for a Team Leader for Spare Parts Manuals who is ready to step into a leadership role and contribute to building a true Center of Excellence.
You will be at the forefront of innovation, working with cutting-edge tools and sustainable technologies to deliver high-quality, user-centric documentation for our customers.
Roles and responsiblities:
- Lead a dynamic, engaged, and growth-focused Spare parts manuals team for Engineered solutions (ES).
- Empowering team member to achieve their full potential.
- Oversee the Creation, maintenance & development of Engineered solutions spare parts manuals
- Offer guidance, support, and set clear goals for the team based on the technical documentation competence vision and mission, while promoting a collaborative and high-performance environment.
- Develop strategies to position the team as a center of excellence for aftermarket documentation for ES..
- Identify and address team members' training and development needs to foster continuous improvement and growth.
- Collaborate with business teams and customers to understand new demands, resolve challenges, and provide targeted interventions that meet business and customer needs.
- Generate and successfully implement innovative ideas to elevate team competence, improving customer satisfaction.
- Drive the implementation of efficiency improvement initiatives and digitalize day-to-day execution and administrative tasks.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and identify opportunities for team development and career growth.
- Refine processes, templates, and tools, leading innovation projects to enhance quality and reduce lead times for technical documentation.
- Collaborate with external vendors to ensure smooth project execution when needed, with a focus on supplier excellence to optimize the outsourcing of work.
- Conduct periodic reviews and audits to ensure documentation accuracy and address any discrepancies.
- Ensuring operational excellence and alignment with organizational objectives.
To succeed, you will need
Educational requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent with 9-10 years of experience in technical documentation with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
Skills and Experience requirements:
- A deep understanding of different communication channels, platforms, technologies and tools in technical documentation domain
- Proficiency in industry-standard software in spare parts digital applications & specific tools like Isodraw, Inventor, SAP etc..
- Excellent people management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team toward achieving goals.
- Must be proactive, assertive, and able to work in a self-directed manner across departments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage budgets, and meet deadlines.
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities are also critical to be successful.
