This role provides an exciting opportunity to join the Brand Studio team as an UI/UX Designer, based in Pune, India.
Role Overview:
This is a hands-on, strategic design role focused on crafting seamless and impactful digital experiences. As a UX/UI Expert, your mission is to create intuitive, user-cantered design solutions that align with user needs and business goals. You’ll be responsible for the entire design lifecycle—from research and ideation to interactive prototyping and final UI execution—across web and mobile platforms.
Your work will directly influence the user experience of digital products used globally across the Atlas Copco Group. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and creatives to translate complex requirements into clean, modern, and responsive interfaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct user research, interviews, and surveys to uncover user needs and behaviours
- Translate insights into personas, journey maps, wireframes, and prototypes
- Design high-fidelity UI that is elegant, functional, and aligned with brand standards
- Conduct usability testing and refine designs based on findings
- Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of design elements
- Review and QA design output to maintain consistency and quality
- Partner with marketing, communication, and digital strategy teams to align experience design with brand goals
- Participate in collaborative design reviews, brainstorming sessions, and critiques
- Stay current with design trends, tools, and best practices
- Foster a culture of design thinking, iteration, and cross-functional collaboration
What we expect of you:
Qualification & Experience requirements:
- Degree in Communication Design, Visual Design, or equivalent
- Diploma or certification in UI/UX Design is preferred
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in UX/UI roles, preferably in an agency or product-based environment
- International experience is an advantage
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Strong understanding of UX research methodologies and usability testing techniques
- Deep knowledge of visual hierarchy, color theory, typography, and responsive design
- Working knowledge of front-end development practices (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Experience with interactive prototyping and user journey mapping
- Familiarity with accessibility guidelines (WCAG) and inclusive design principles
- Ability to create and maintain scalable design systems and documentation
- Strong grasp of brand identity and maintaining visual consistency across platforms
- Experience with tools like Hotjar, Google Analytics, or similar for design validation is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage feedback and stakeholder expectations
