Business Development Manager & Application Specialist East

Your role
Market Strategy
- Definition and implementation of all business development activities in selected Market Segments and for target technologies.
- Explore the full business potential of related markets including, but not limited to, general industry & mining and for the ACV brand product portfolio
- Monitor and understand the market position through analysis of ACV sales results vs market potential, market trends and competitive landscape
- Gather and monitor appropriate information on the market and feed this information into Product Management team in the preparation of new product and system master specifications
Business Development
- Align, support and follow-up with CCs Sales and BLM on their annual growth initiatives in selected markets in coordination with divisional Marketing Managers
- Assist CC sales with developing and winning key projects including application review, solution guidance, joint customer visits and conference calls (where appropriate)
- Provide training to customer centre sales and marketing teams
- Provide application support to customer centres and/or coordinate response with Systems and Solutions Group
- Provide selection and calculative support as a technical hub to the CCs
Communication
- Develop a communication plan and create ad-hoc marketing content in collaboration with VIN Division Communication team
- Consolidate and align CCs with their annual communication plan and planning for your focus markets and platforms
- Act as a consultant with technical and application knowledge

- Degree level in an engineering or science discipline.
- 5+ years experience in technical/sales/marketing roles within AC group or with an international Group.
- Comprehensive technical knowledge of vacuum science, vacuum products and a good understanding of their aplications shall be considered as a plus.
- Good business/commercial awareness (marketing discipline/experience) and ability to analyse business opportunities.
- Strong influencing and presentation skills, practised routinely both inside and outside the company.
- International travel will be required to visit ACV customer centres.
- Influencing, communication, presentation and negotiating skills both internally and externally
- Competence in intercultural cooperation, able to develop relationships and effectively with senior level
- English: Full professional proficiency both speaking and written is a must. Knowledge of other languages is an advantage

Job location
This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our offices. The job will be located in China or South East Asia.
