We are seeking a dynamic strategic leader to spearhead the development and successful delivery of R&D programmes, driving product leadership and increasing market share and profitability in the dry pump semiconductor market. Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Support overall divisional strategy, focusing on global engineering excellence and accelerated program delivery.
Business Partnership: Develop strategies and tactics within each of the business units to increase market share, revenue growth, and operational performance through impactful R&D program delivery.
Program Roadmaps: Collaborate with Heads of Product Management and key stakeholders to develop robust program roadmaps with prioritized plans for success.
Collaboration: Work closely with Product Company Engineering Managers and General Managers to ensure the smooth running and delivery of R&D programs on time, with quality, and within budget.
Resource Alignment: Ensure resources in Product Companies are aligned with the overall portfolio of projects and have the necessary skills and tools for successful delivery.
Team Management: Manage the activities of assigned program and technical managers to achieve the strategic plan.
Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with and gather input from senior leaders and stakeholders across the business.
Collaboration for Success: Work collaboratively with product company engineering teams and business unit management to ensure successful timing and performance of key commercial programs.
Experience and Skills:
Alongside significant experience in the successful delivery of large, complex technical programs in a global matrix organization, you will need to demonstrate:
Strong Conceptual and Analytical Skills: Demonstrate outside-the-box problem-solving abilities.
Strategic Development: Proven ability to develop strategies and execution plans across a global business, managing projects and programs to deliver on time, meeting quality and cost targets.
Business/Commercial Awareness: Make appropriate proposals to balance potentially conflicting commercial and technical drivers.
Management Expertise: Build and develop a cohesive team, provide leadership and direction to a global matrix team, and foster good communication across project teams and functions.
Influencing and Communication Skills: Exhibit strong presentation and negotiating skills at the highest levels, both internally and externally. Influence with impact across functional teams.
Additional Requirements:
Willingness for regular travel to Atlas Copco sites, supplier, and customer locations in Korea, China, and the US.
Strong proficiency in English, both written and verbal
