Product Manager Adjacent Technologies East

Your role
Bring your curiosity to work as our next Product Manager Adjacent Technologies East. You will be part of our Industry Vacuum Division ACV Marketing East team reporting to Marketing Manager ACV East. In this role, your mission is to build and grow ACV’s adjacent vacuum business in the East, leading strategy, market development, and product management for centrifugal and high-flow vacuum solutions. You will contribute directly to how we create high‑quality products and solutions for our customers.
Your day-to-day
Product Development & maintenance
- Develop and maintain a competitive product roadmap
- Assess market size, potential, and trends with Customer Centres
- Translate market and customer needs into product specifications
- Initiate and drive new product development projects
- Manage product development process and reduce time-to-market
- Collaborate with other PM for global product development if it is necessary
- Monitor product performance and manage lifecycle to maximize long-term growth and profitability
- Maintain the product info in system
Price positioning
- Segment the total market and define ACV target segments
- Define ACV product positioning in line with VIN division strategy
- Analyze market price ranges and competitor pricing
- Monetize product features and value,establish a competitive and value-based pricing positioning
Product promotion
- Develop communication plans and ad-hoc marketing content in line with defined goals and strategies, in collaboration with VIN Division Communication team
- Lead new product launch activities, create clear training materials to ensure sales fully understand product features and benefits.
- Create value-based messaging to highlight unique machine advantages and support value selling
- Conduct competitor comparisons to demonstrate ACV’s unique strengths and value to customers
- Design and execute product promotion campaigns for targeted products
Business Development
- Identify key segments and applications for targeted products in selected markets and explore the full business potential.
- Analyze key pain points and value drivers to generate segment insights
- Work with BDM & Application Managers to prioritize application training programs and enhance sales force‘s competence
- Develop sales support tools (e.g., product selection tools, value calculators, ROI models) to support business growth.
- Assist CC sales with developing and winning key projects including technical support, solution guidance, joint customer visits and conference calls (where appropriate)
- Align, support and follow-up with CCs Sales and BLM on their annual growth initiatives for targeted products in selected markets in coordination with divisional Marketing Managers
- Monitor and understand the market position through analysis of ACV sales results vs market potential, market trends and competitive landscape
Collaboration
- Intern marketing department: consolidate business opportunities and support co-development projects; interact with other teammembers to consolidate the marketing activities.
- Intern Product Company: communicate with all internal departments
- Intern VIN division: Strengthen alignment between Product Companies (PC) and Customer Centres (CC) to improve collaboration; Work cross-functionally with other departments to support ACV’s business growth;
- Intern Atlas Copco group: Interact with other divisions to identify and leverage business synergies.
Your skills and experience
• Experience in technical/sales/marketing roles within AC group or with an international Group.
• Good business/commercial awareness (marketing discipline/experience) and ability to analyse business opportunities
• Degree level in an engineering or science discipline.
• Comprehensive technical knowledge of vacuum science, vacuum products and a good understanding of their applications shall be considered as a plus.
• Strong influencing and presentation skills, practised routinely both inside and outside the company.
• Influencing, communication, presentation and negotiating skills both internally and externally
• Competence in intercultural cooperation, able to develop relationships and effectively with senior level
• International travel will be required to visit ACV customer centres.
• English: Full professional proficiency both speaking and written is a must. Knowledge of other languages is an advantage
