Project Lead

Your role
Project Lead will coordinate and manage the day-to-day activities of a multidisciplinary team of up to ~10 to 15 heads depending on project scope with individuals retaining direct reporting line to functional managers (Technical, Manufacturing, Supply Management). The governance and scheduling of the project is the responsibility of the Project lead – reporting directly to the Programme Manager.

- In compliance with external standards and legislation
- Implement the company NPI procedure (PCP) or the agile NPI procedure within SUN teams, ensuring adherence to the procedures on design and modification, peer reviews, design and safety reviews, creation of key documents, etc. and encourage continuous improvement of the procedures themselves.
- Feedback project members’ performance to functional managers from project deliverables point of view
- When required, to provide expert resources or undertake special projects to meet the requirements of the Company’s quality objectives and general policies

- Degree in an engineering or science discipline. Master and above is a plus.
- Recognised Project or Programme Management Qualification desirable.
- Experience and understanding of the advanced manufacturing methods used producing the sector products.
- Experience and understanding of the full Product Commercialisation Procedure (PCP) from concept selection to factory implementation.
- A proven ability to generate and execute detailed project plans – including – resource planning, cost tracking and control, and schedule adherence whilst maintaining the flexibility required to react to rapidly changing market drivers.
- Management expertise: able to build a cohesive team, to provide leadership and direction, and to foster good communications within and between project teams.
- Fluency in English.
- Other languages are a plus.
