Bring your curiosity to work as our next Regional Indirect Procurement Manager - China & Taiwan. You will be part of our Global Indirect Procurement team reporting to Global Indirect Procurement Manager. In this role, your mission is to be responsible for the procurement strategy within dedicated region of responsibility and will take ownership of strategic sourcing for the region, execute optimization, cost down and synergy projects and negotiate agreements, leverage spend, standardize processes, and drive supplier development initiatives which will enable to achieve our strategic and financial goals. You will contribute directly to how we create high‑quality products and solutions for our customers.
Your day-to-day

Monitor and improve compliance with policies to drive Compliance and Control over spend & supplier base, standardize policies and processes, drive synergy and optimization projects within China & Taiwan region;

Establish efficient communication through regional council with stakeholders (PC Procurement, Business Controllers and GMs);

Work closely with key business stakeholders to ensure that requirements are clearly understood and appropriately challenged, and be aware of the function’s challenges, opportunities, and priorities;

Develop and maintain close working relationships with the various business stakeholders including other Business Areas to ensure that Indirect Procurement delivers savings and service level improvements on a consistent and sustainable basis;

Develop, validate, implement and drive sustainable category and sub-category strategies with alignment to business requirements for the region and global indirect procurement strategies;

Identify continuous improvement opportunities for process efficiency through digitalization or adjustments to global best practices;

Your skills and experience
Relevant Previous experience
o Minimum 10 years procurement experience and preferably experience in regional role
o At least 3 years in a strategic role, or experience in developing category strategies within 10 years experience
Knowledge areas/Skills
o Cost analysis and supply market intelligence
o Excellent communication skills across all levels of an organisation, both internally and with suppliers
o Track record improving supply chains, supplier relationships and performance
o Procurement and supply chain process
Other requirements
o Full fluency in English written and spoken
o Interaction with stakeholders & leadership
o Self-motivated requiring minimal guidance from management
o Willingness to travel as when the business conditions and strategies require
