Senior Software & Control Engineer

Your role

As a Senior Software & Control Engineer, your mission is to [provide depth of subject matter knowledge in areas of core capability, either product or system based. Maybe affiliated with appropriate industry company forums and be a leading voice in their field of specialty and develop product systems solutions to engineering problems using new or existing technologies in creative and innovative ways of existing products.]. You will

• Collating and validating requirements with stakeholders prior to commencing development
• Designing, documenting and reviewing software designs
• Software development – Designing, coding and testing software modules written in C++
• Hands-on testing using real equipment (vacuum pumps, etc.) and simulators to test and validate the software functionality
• Designing and executing performance and robustness tests
• Participating in Peer Review, Design Reviews, Code Reviews, and Walkthroughs etc.
• Assisting in the development, maintenance and execution of automated tests
• Documentation covering requirements, design, test plans and release notes

You have Minimum of 5 years working as a Software Engineer

• Have bachelor’s degree or above on software/electronics/electrical or equivalent in engineering field.
• OOP Design / C++
• Software Testing (Unit/Integration/System)
• Industrial serial comm protocols
• Software Configuration Management and Change Control
• Agile software development methodology
• Ethernet networks Ethernet
• Software configuration management tools, defect tracking tools
• Experience of designing solutions for industrial and safety control systems
• Understand customer satisfaction is the key successful factor.
