Bring your curiosity to work as our next Senior Technical Support Engineer. You will be part of our Engineering-Semi team reporting to Technical Manager-SIA. In this role, your mission is to To take engineering technical ownership for a range of products throughout their product lifecycle. Operating with a high level of independence, you will be proactive and engage with multiple global stakeholders. The role requires management of a diverse range of projects, actions and problems. You will contribute directly to how we create high‑quality products and solutions for our customers.
Your day-to-day

- Responsible for ensuring their engineering output meets the requirements. Develop localised solutions ensuring they are well tested and fully verified. Ensure the overall product meets specification, cost and reliability requirements; ensuring TCFs are accurately updated as required.
- Drive consistency of engineering solutions across platforms and machine types.
- Ensure processes are followed, EC, permit, part numbering, etc.
- Ensure localised parts/assemblies and alternative component meet design specification and are tested adequately.
- Create testing plans, execute testing and write reports; support junior team members in completing testing and report writing, including peer checking. Guide testing in house and on site for novel solutions, resolving problems as they arise, to provide intended test data from experimental design and reports and, then determine necessary next actions from the results, making appropriate recommendations.
- Understand the system design intent, complete designs, calculations, and prepare test specifications.
Your skills and experience
- A good Bachelors Engineering/Scientific degree, relevant to role and discipline.
- Experience of working in a product manufacturing environment.
- 3-5 years involvement in the process/ activities of product development in a high technology environment.
- Experience and understanding of engineering processes.
- Must be a good communicator and have excellent fluency in spoken & written Chinese and English.
