Customer Service Engineer to work on-site a semiconductor customer site in Qiryat-Gat, Israel, and Provide a high level of quality service to the customer.

 

 

To undertake equipment Install, commissioning, maintenance, trouble-shooting' and other service tasks, in support of Edwards' and third party equipment in a variety of applications at a dedicated customer site as agreed within the scope of service contract.
Provide a level of customer service excellence by closely working with the customer.

 

Typically requires a minimum of Practical Engineer education or equivalent in relevant technical field. 5+ years experience. Knowledge of electrical systems, able to read and understand schematics and written diagrams, excellent mechanical aptitude, knowledge of vacuum systems and abatement products, understands PLC controllers, inventory management. Must have the ability to organize, set priorities and effectively work with customers, and be capable of exercising independent judgment. Possess a good customer interface and communication skills. Intermediate computer skills in word processing, spreadsheet software, and databases. Competent in the use of test equipment including, hand tools and power tools. This role may require working in confined or awkward spaces for extended periods of time. Candidate must be able to lift 50 pounds without assistance, and able to work with breathing apparatus.
Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing, in English and in Hebrew.
