What you may work on

Depending on your expertise and interests, you could be involved in:

•    Developing and optimizing back-end applications, platforms, and data pipelines that support production, service, and business processes
•    Translating business and operational needs into robust technical solutions together with stakeholders from engineering, operations, and IT
•    Building cloud-native services and API integrations connecting machines, digital products, and enterprise systems
•    Designing algorithms, machine learning solutions, or data-driven insights based on connected equipment data
•    Visualizing performance indicators and operational insights through dashboards and user-facing applications
•    Contributing to software architecture decisions and design principles within cross-functional teams
•    Investigating and resolving complex technical issues across distributed systems and environments
•    Collaborating internationally with teams across business, manufacturing, service, and technology domains

Through this work, you help improve operational efficiency, enable data-driven decision-making, strengthen customer value, and support continuous innovation across Atlas Copco Group’s global organization.

Profiles we’d like to meet

We are looking for experienced IT professionals (3+ years), ideally with a background in industrial or complex IT environments, who can translate business needs into effective technical solutions. You are comfortable working with back-end systems, IoT, and data-driven applications, and you proactively tackle complex challenges while collaborating with stakeholders across business and IT in an agile, iterative environment. Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential.

Experience with cloud platforms (Azure), .NET and modern development frameworks, API development, DevOps, containers (Docker/Kubernetes), databases (PostgreSQL/MongoDB), messaging systems (RabbitMQ), or software architecture and design is a plus.

Job location

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at Airpower in Wilrijk, Belgium.
