Accountant

Your role

The junior accountant provides support as an expert contact person in accounting issues and takes on tasks in financial accounting on his own responsibility. It lays the foundation for correct reporting and contributes to compliance with legal and internal requirements. In close cooperation with the financial analyst, he provides important data and supports analyses, calculations and the preparation of strategic decisions. In addition, he contributes to the optimization of accounting processes and the increase in efficiency in the financial sector

To succeed, you will need

• Contact person for accounting processes and procedures in the company
• Support with budgeting and financial planning
• Generating reports for Atlas Copco (Day 1 to Day 3)
• Ensuring compliance with Local and IFRS 16 structures in accordance with the Group
• Management and creation of provisions (materials, personnel, warranties, value adjustments)
• Work with local ERP systems and databases
• Controlling of investments and research and development projects
• Preparation of statistics (mandatory reports and ad-hoc reports)
• Support in the preparation of the local monthly, quarterly and annual financial statement
• Support and cooperation with the financial analyst in various controlling topics as well as project-related calculations
