The Role

Basic Function:
Pneumatech North America is seeking a New Business Development Manager to drive the growth and development for their gas generation through distribution, OEM’s, package integrators and other channels. Successful candidate will be results-driven, charismatic, and has strong leadership skills with the capability to influence others and communicate with impact. This position report to the National Sales Manager- Chicago Pneumatic-Multi Brands.

Principle Duties: 
•    This position is responsible to excellerate the growth and market share of our Gas Generation business
•    Support management in the development of the business strategy.
•    Develop the product roadmap based on customer requirements, market tends, industry knowledge and competitive information.    
•    Drive the deployment of the defined strategy working in close cooperation with Pneumatech competence center colleagues, Portfolio Managers and Brand Managers. 
•    Identify and develop existing and emerging markets and channels.
•    Rigorously prospect for new business through various methods and follow up with leads in your pipeline. 
•    Implement the launch of oxygen, membrane nitrogen and PSA nitrogen products.
•    Provide training on products, applications, and tools.
•    Establish close communication and frequent interactions with customer centers, distributors, OEM’s, and package integrators, to gather market intelligence, gain a better understanding of customer requirements, thereby translating it into effective value propositions.
•    Build a sales network based on specialized business finders, OEM resellers, system integrators and engineering firms. Identify main OEM packagers developing stable partnerships outside specialized compressed air dealers.
•    Conduct an in-depth market analysis and segmentation, to identify all potential segments to promote quality air and industrial gas generation solutions 
•    Medium to heavy travel (approximately 50%-75%). 
•    Perform other duties as assigned.

What we expect of you? 

Education and Experience: 
•    Five to ten (5-10) years of progressive Business Development management experience in the Gas Generatioin, Gas Separation or Industrial Gas industry. 
•    Bachelor’s Degree in business or engineering or equivalent work experience; Master’s Degree preferred. 


Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

•    Must be self-motivatied and have excellent organizational, supervisory, interpersonal, verbal and written communication, and problem-solving skills. 
•    Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel; proficiency in IBM Lotus Notes applications preferred. 
•    Experience and proven record of relationship building Excellent negotiation skills and techniques 
•    Must be result oriented and innovative.
•    Must have a strong leadership background
