Your Role


Mission
The mission of the CTS Academy Training Manager is to ensure that our people have the competencies and certifications required for success by providing comprehensive training packages and analyzing their results. Develop, schedule, and deliver service training for Direct Technicians, Distributor Technicians, and Customers on our Industrial and Oil-Free compressors as well as other related equipment.

We are looking for someone who enjoys autonomy and takes initiative to interact with our US customer centers. Someone with an affinity for technology and a pedagogical skillset would be ideal for this role.   

The responsibilities of the CTS Academy Training Manager are: 
•    Managing the academy operations (facility, equipment, tools, logistics etc.). 
•    Implement the Competence Development Process for US Customer Centers. 
•    Facilitate the utilization of the Academy for Service Specialists, Customer Centers or other parties as needed.
•    Manage the E-Learning site for CTS (requests, scheduling etc.).
•    To roll out blended learning activities such as videos, prerecorded virtual activities, remote sessions and other digital learning platforms.
•    Roll out the ‘Train The Trainer for Tech’ support team.
•    Develop and structure learning objects towards the target audience with pre-requisites and certification. 
•    Develop and coordinate the Induction Program in cooperation with the service specialists or customer centers. 
•    Support service specialists in the development of technical trainings, taking into consideration different learning styles.
•    Define future training needs based on expressed interest from users. 
•    Cooperate with other other CTS Academy Managers on joint projects. 

Contribute to positive Company branding by projecting a knowledgeable, professional, and customer-oriented image to customers. 

Perform all duties in accordance with Atlas Copco standards, while always striving to understand the needs and expectations of the customer.

Take whatever action is appropriate and required to get the job done and to establish and maintain communications with all people/employees considered necessary to get the job done.

To succeed, you will need  

Qualifications:

 

Experience
Experience in the development of training programs is a major asset. 
Good knowledge of Atlas Copco products. 
Practical knowledge of service and marketing activities in the field.
3-5 years of compressor technical field service experience a plus, with demonstrated expertise in the maintenance, overhaul, and repair of a wide variety of Atlas Copco Industrial and Oil-Free compressors. Strong mechanical and electrical experience. Six months to a year of experience delivering service training or equivalent.

Education
High School diploma with additional technical training or B.SC of Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent by experience. 
General technical knowledge, theoretical as well as practical, is required. 
Good knowledge of English.
Familiar with MS Office packages like PowerPoint, Excel, Word, O365, and Sharepoint. 
Knowledge of e-learning packages and authoring tools is a plus.

Skills
Must be self-directed and have excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication (verbal and written), and problem-solving skills. Comfortable delivering training to groups ranging from 5 to 50 participants. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as IMB LotusNotes applications. Must also be proficient in obtaining product-related information from the Business Portal. Some travel is required.

Salary Range: $80,000 to $95,000. Salary is based on knowledge, skills, and experience and has been geographically adjusted
