Mission

 

  •  Supply the production lines with correctly loaded kitting carts according to the automatically generated pick list.
  • To actively contribute to the Lead-to-Lean project, striving for logistic excellence
  • To Pick parts according to a set picking time target
  • To Pick parts correctly and remain within the set target
  •  Put forward ideas for improvement related to
  • Flow of picking
  •  Use of IT systems

 

Roles and Responsibilities

 

  • Refills the supplied empty kitting carts according to availability
  •  Make sure filled kit carts are available for every type of kit cart to supply the production line. Prevents empty kit carts from appearing
  • Picking of the respective number of components in the kitting logistic area on their designated location on the picklist + placement of the components on the kit cart according to photo and / or instruction.
  •  Uses a hand scanner to scan the kit cart reference barcode to print and report automatically generated pick-lists according to the defined production planning
  •  Ensure good condition and maintenance of the kitting carts and flow racks
  •  Repacking of materials
  •  Breakdown and disposal of packaging materials (boxes, pallets ...)
  •  Maintain clean working environment
  •  Remove empty boxes from the flow rack and feed them to the return rack for the line feeder
  • In the case of empty pallets at the pick location, inform line feeder for replenishment
  •  Report missing components via the processing system and attach a list of missing components to the kit cart

Position requires a high school diploma, general education degree (GED), at least three years of warehouse and/ or receiving experience
