Your role

The mission of this role is to accelerate revenue growth and customer satisfaction by proactively supporting the sales team, managing inbound inquiries, generating qualifying leads, and executing targeted upsell campaigns. This role will serve as a central hub for sales operations, ensuring timely responses, accurate CRM data entry, and consistent follow-through on opportunities. 

 

Primary Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records for leads, opportunities, and customer interactions.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries from customers, distributors, and the sales team.
  • Generate new leads through email campaigns, down lists, D&B, FleetLink, and service reports and qualify the leads to assign to Regional Sales Managers.
  • Proactively upsell accessories, fluids, consumables, and service kits to existing customers.
  • Responsible for managing quotations for Multi-brand equipment repairs from initiation to closure. 
  • Conduct post-delivery follow-up calls to ensure satisfaction and identify upsell opportunities.
  • Provide parts proposals upon erquest and act as liason between customer and internal teams.
  • Support Business Line Manager and management team with reporting, special projects, and strategic initiatives.
  • Participate in product, application, and personal development training.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with established customers through close management of accounts and pay attention to their needs.
  • Assist the Vice President by effectively performing regular analysis of the market condition, price levels,a nd competition activity.
  • Utilize the CRM system to prepare all new sales proposals, maintain up-to-date status of pipeline development, business development activities, contact information, notes, and any other relevant information.

One - two (1-2) years of related work experience in capital equipment or service sales is preferred. A four (4) year bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or engineering will be beneficial with a minimum of one (1) year experience as described above, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Desired skills include:

  • Working knowledge of computer and software applications including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience and proficiency with CRM platforms is desirable.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret gneral business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and government regulations.
  • Ability to effectively present complex information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the public.
  • Apply common sense and understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, and/or schedule form.
  • Ability to solve problems and handle situations where there are limited set rules.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
