Your role
As a member of the Repack- Receiving team, your mission is pivotal in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our warehouse operations. Your primary goal is to ensure the seamless receipt, inspection, and documentation of incoming materials and products for repackaging. By leveraging your expertise in logistics and meticulous attention to detail, you will play a critical role in guaranteeing accurate inventory management and timely processing. Through proactive problem-solving and collaboration with cross-functional teams, strive to optimize workflow and uphold our commitment to operational excellence. Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assist with ensuring the timely receipt of material to meet production line demand.
- Recognize interruptions to normal material flow and report to team leader
- Ensure that all incoming material is processed in a timely and accurate way
- Prioritize activities and take necessary actions to meet receiving targets
- Assist in loading and unloading of trucks
- Assist with the implementation of warehouse and management processes
- Have a high regard for safety and quality standards and make sure housekeeping standards are met daily
- Perform other duties as assigned.
To succeed, you will need
Required Skills/Abilities:
- PC literate and basic knowledge of:
- MS Office (Word, Excel and Access)
- AS400/ BPCS applications Forklift license required
- Knowledge of carrier/ transportation procedures
- Able to work in a team, constructive and positive attitude
- Clean and orderly Accurate and independent Good communication skills
Education and Experience:
- Position requires a high school diploma, general education degree (GED), at least three years of warehouse and/ or receiving experience.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing and working.
- Must be able to lift/carry up to 40 pounds at times.
- Frequent bending/stooping throughout the day.
- Gripping/twisting frequently with a need for manual dexterity.
Travel: Occasional travel may be required
