Your role
In the role of Logistics Engineer within our innovative manufacturing division, you will be central to shaping the efficiency and resilience of our supply chain operations. Your expertise will be instrumental in designing, optimizing, and maintaining seamless logistics flows that underpin our production capabilities. Collaborating directly with cross-functional teams, you will drive initiatives that enhance delivery reliability, optimize costs, and uphold process integrity, reinforcing our commitment to operational excellence.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and refining logistics processes encompassing goods receiving, packaging, kitting, and internal transportation to ensure flawless production support.
- Monitoring compliance and quality control during inbound material processing, adeptly managing any deviations to maintain accuracy and standards.
- Overseeing inventory governance across multiple logistics zones, implementing rigorous cycle counting and control procedures for optimum stock accuracy.
- Managing logistics system configurations such as Kanban replenishment levels, storage location mapping, product labeling standards, and lot size determinations to streamline operational workflows.
- Acting as the primary communication liaison for daily logistics operations, troubleshooting issues promptly to maintain continuity.
- Analyzing inbound and outbound supply chain metrics, leveraging key performance indicators like lead time analysis, service level adherence, cost tracking, and process throughput assessments to identify improvement opportunities.
- Driving continuous improvement programs by applying Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen principles to elevate logistics performance and reduce waste.
- Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to spearhead projects aimed at enhancing transportation efficiency, packaging solutions, and material handling methods.
- Serving as a proficient key user of critical logistics and ERP platforms including SAP, BE2Net, Fasttrack, and Esker, integrating digital data analytics to empower evidence-based decision-making and automation.
- Fostering effective partnerships among logistics personnel, production planners, purchasing teams, suppliers, and third-party logistics providers to align operations with strategic business goals.
- Leading cross-organizational projects focused on improving On-Time-In-Full (OTIF) delivery performance while delivering measurable improvements in cost structures, quality levels, and service excellence.
- Providing expert consultancy and detailed data insights to senior leadership, positioning yourself as a trusted authority in complex logistics challenges and operational problem resolution.

Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or closely related field.
- Minimum of 3 years' professional experience in logistics operations, manufacturing, or production planning contexts.
Key Competencies:
- Strong foundational knowledge of logistics principles and material flow within manufacturing settings.
- Proficient in ERP systems, notably SAP, alongside familiarity with logistics-specific software and standard office applications.
- Analytical thinker with experience interpreting data to guide process enhancements and operational decisions.
- Solid understanding of Lean manufacturing methodologies and continuous improvement frameworks.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of managing multiple stakeholder relationships effectively.
- Detail-focused, self-motivated, and adaptable, able to thrive independently or collaboratively within a dynamic environment.
