Your role

Mission – Your mission will be to lead the support & growth efforts for a key account, and adoption of our product portfolio including air compressors, air treatment, aftermarket services and more. By leveraging your expertise, you will help us remain the preferred supplier for our products, with a focus on sustainability and the growth of our customer share at each of their facilities. 

 

Roles & Responsibilities

· To work closely with local prime equipment and aftermarket sales colleagues to provide the highest level of customer satisfaction to clients.

· To establish sustainable rapport within your area of responsibility by maintaining regular contact with the customer.

· To respond promptly to customer inquiries, introducing stakeholders to our capabilities, new products, and upgrades, studying customer needs, and coordinating customer service.

· To maintain all field activity consistently and proactively in the company CRM portal.

· To prepare and present proposals.

· To oversee customer services through quality checks and follow-up; to help in identifying and resolving customer concerns.

· To always maintain a professional image through personal actions and initiatives, by projecting a knowledgeable, professional, and customer-oriented image to customers.

· Perform all duties in accordance with Atlas Copco standards, while always striving to understand the needs and expectations of the customer.

· Take whatever action is appropriate and required to get the job done and to establish and maintain communications with all people/employees considered necessary to get the job done.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Data Management & Integrity: Maintain and correct customer files to ensure information is accurate and up to date. Review documentation to confirm pricing and processes adhere to national agreements. Administer and maintain a working knowledge of all relevant databases and software including but not limited to C4C, various third party portals, shared mailboxes, relevant Power BI reports, Microsoft Office programs.

 

Reporting: Provide monthly reports to National/OEM accounts and National/OEM account team as needed, including upcoming service plan expirations and overdue service plans.

 

Service Plans: Submit tasks for service plan cancellations, renewals, updates or invoices via C4C. Ensure new service plans are entered and executed per the terms of our agreement. Provide customer specific documentation related to completed service plan work orders.

 

Order Support: Receive purchase orders and identify and distribute to the appropriate employee. Confirm order receipt and pricing/ETA in portals when necessary. Initiate and follow the RMA process to verify that parts are returned and replacement parts are ordered. Review visit reports for anomalies, recommended repairs, and to confirm that we are servicing within the necessary parameters.

To succeed, you will need

Experience – 3 years in account management or industrial equipment sales preferred

Education – Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent work experience

Skills – Organizational skills, critical thinking and written and verbal communication skills required. Some travel may be required.

Hybrid:

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our Rock Hill, SC office.
