Your primary mission is to optimize production flow to ensure reliable and timely delivery that meets customer requirements and supports the company’s commitment to quality, safety, and sustainability. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Customer Center US, Sales, Purchasing, and Supply Chain to anticipate demand, allocate resources, and resolve scheduling conflicts.

Responsibilities

  • Encompass detailed planning and continuous adjustment of production schedules based on real-time data about demand fluctuations, production capacity constraints, and material availability.
  • Manage the prioritization and re-planning of customer orders, ensuring that order statuses and delivery dates are accurately maintained in our ERP and planning systems.
  • Monitoring the workload and capacity of the shop floor will be a key aspect, balancing efficiency with quality outcomes.
  • Monitoring open orders and proactively following up with suppliers to speed up deliveries when inventory runs low or production schedules change.
  • Proactively communicate with both internal partners and external customers to provide updates on order status, confirm delivery dates, or notify about schedule changes.
  • Communicating with vendors to confirm they received the order and can meet the requested delivery date.
  • Managing inventory through appropriate finished goods stock allocation and expediting materials or components with suppliers to meet delivery commitments.
  • Support production transitions such as phase-ins and phase-outs, pilot batch launches, and new product introductions, contributing actively to continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing production planning processes, customer service responsiveness, and supply chain efficiency.
  • Processing purchase orders accurately and ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Working closely with production, engineering, and logistics teams to anticipate upcoming material needs.
  • Collaborating with departments to ensure stock levels are healthy, preventing both overstock and stockouts.

Technology and Systems

  • Utilize enterprise resource planning (ERP) software and production planning tools to maintain data accuracy and ensure seamless coordination between teams.
  • Leverage reporting systems to monitor production metrics, supporting continuous operational improvements and decision-making processes.

Communication and Collaboration

  • Act as a pivotal liaison between various departments to synchronize production schedules with sales forecasts, customer expectations, and supply availability.
  • Lead structured planning meetings and foster transparent communication to proactively address potential delays or bottlenecks.

Continuous Improvement & Projects

  • Contribute to projects aimed at optimizing workflows, enhancing supply chain responsiveness, and improving overall production efficiency.
  • Support operational excellence programs to boost delivery performance, customer satisfaction, and product quality.
