Your role

Mission – In charge of (and manage) the national Service Contracts portfolio (including Service Plans and leasing solutions), Customer Success program with a dedicated team. The position is responsible for market development activities and sales growth of the Service Contracts product line by developing marketing communications and business development plans, increasing competence of the regional sales teams, improving sales efficiency, visiting and assuring retention of key customer accounts.

 

Roles and Responsibilities

 

Business Development (20%) - Manage and coordinate all activities related to business development strategies for the product line. Coordinate/motivate sales efforts to achieve established growth and sales goals and increase market share. Develop and distribute new strategies to the Service Sales Team to increase the market and customer share. Review competitor positions and create competitor comparison reports. Responsibility for overall national business development strategy and objectives for the assigned product line within Atlas Copco USA. Formulate, manage, and implement strategies to increase market share. Define the goals and objectives for developing new business for Atlas Copco in the targeted markets. Monitor competitor pricing to make sure Atlas Copco is competitive in its pricing model.

 

Customer Service (10%) – Create quotation standards and systems to ensure excellent, prompt response to customer inquiries. Clarify the needs of the customer or the sales group to better facilitate addressing those needs and expectations. Liaise with the Service Sales Team to strengthen the relationship between sales team and marketing team and ensure a high standard of customer response. Make recommendations regarding adjustments to the service product portfolio and technology which will respond to customer/market needs and demands and maintain our competitiveness within the target markets. Improve customer support and service by reviewing and responding promptly to customer and sales staff inquiries relevant to the product line.

 

Marketing Communications (20%) – Responsibility for and discretionary authority over day-to-day management decisions related to market development and promotion of the Atlas Copco Service plans product line and leasing solutions in order to optimize profits and meet growth objectives. Assure business development and marketing communications plans and strategies (both short- and long- term) for the target markets for the assigned product line, and oversee implementation of same. Organize, manage, and drive marketing activities such as training programs, development of marketing materials, competitor analysis, and price positioning). Organize plans to inform our customers in the target markets of the latest developments in Atlas Copco Service Contracts product line and recommend to customers the best use of these developments.

 

Training (10%) – Organize training programs to help the Service Sales Team to better understand Service Plans, AIRPlan leasing solutions along with related sales strategies/processes and tools in order to achieve business development goals. Organize training sessions for the sales teams on the tools that the Service Sales team can utilize and direct their actions for the highest rate of success.

 

Managing the Customer Success Representatives (CSR) Team (40%) -

Provide direction and KPI’s for the CSR team to ensure on time renewal, improved renewal rate, and limit attrition. Manage, monitor, review, and approve the activities of the team. Delegate activities as needed to the team.

Experience – 5+ years of relevant experience in sales and marketing of technical, industrial equipment (preferably audit services within Compressed air) Proven ability to successfully achieve sales goals and implement business development planning.

Education – 4-year Engineering, Business, or Marketing degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills – Must be able to work independently and have excellent organizational, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail. Must be able to manage multiple priorities with flexibility in a fast-paced work environment. Must have a positive attitude, and a strong commitment to customer service. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel, and Outlook. Must be able to pick up and understand the current Customer Management Programs.

This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, giving you the flexibility to split your time between working remotely and being on-site in Rock Hill, South Carolina.
