Manufacturing Engineer
Your mission as a Manufacturing Engineer is to support and continuously improve manufacturing operations with a focus on safety, quality, cost, and operational efficiency. In this role, you will develop, document, and optimize production processes while supporting manufacturing teams in achieving operational targets. With a strong focus on compressor products and compressor systems, you will drive process improvements, enhance workflow efficiency, and contribute to reliable, high-quality production performance.
Key Responsibilities

- Develop, document, and maintain manufacturing processes and work instructions for compressor systems.
- Support assembly, testing, and validation activities for compressor systems in accordance with quality and performance requirements.
- Improve production efficiency by applying lean manufacturing principles (e.g., JIT, Kanban).
- Design and optimize production line layouts and assembly flows for compressor packages and sub-assemblies.
- Analyze labor standards, cycle times, and capacity requirements for compressor system production lines.
- Measure and optimize assembly times and analyze processing stages across production areas to ensure balanced workflows.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Sourcing, and Production teams to support both standard and customized products.
- Ensure Bill of Materials (BOM), routings, and specifications align with manufacturing capabilities and quality standards.
- Support the introduction of new compressor systems, design updates, equipment, and process improvements.
- Identify manufacturing risks and non-conformities, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Drive digitalization, traceability, and data-driven manufacturing improvements.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental requirements.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering, preferably within compressor, rotating equipment, or industrial machinery environments.
- Experience with or working knowledge of compressor systems or similar industrial equipment is considered an asset.
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles, continuous improvement methodologies, and production system design.
- Experience developing and maintaining production documentation, standard work routines, and process optimization initiatives.

- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, assembly instructions, and technical specifications.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel, as well as manufacturing documentation tools.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing and shop-floor environment.
