We are looking for a passionate Business Development Manager for Industrial Gases, based in the South Eastern Europe Region.

 

The key objectives of the role are:

 

• Explore the potential of existing Atlas Copco customers. Recognize application opportunities through proper customer segmentation and define potential market opportunities for Industrial Gases solutions.
• Share market segmentation insights with all Sales Teams and actively drive potential business.
• Cooperate with NSMs and RBLM to define competitive market strategies. Prepare SWOT analyses for key competitors and map customers to develop targeted proposals.
• Understand customer value drivers; demonstrate return on investment and total cost of ownership to influence purchasing decisions.
• Build a strong network and immerse yourself in key applications to drive new business. Leverage the Atlas Copco brand to develop long-lasting relationships with customers, OEMs, and key accounts.
• Optimize market coverage across SEE by developing tools such as CRM systems to enhance efficiency and territory management.
• Provide input to Product Specialists and Managers and help elevate equipment knowledge across product lines.
• Support the development of local sales teams through improved tools and training. Act as a people-development manager who motivates, supports, and fosters an engaging work environment.

 

To succeed, you will need

Experience requirements:
• Strong business acumen and solid understanding of market trends.
• Minimum 3 years of proven sales experience in B2B or B2C industrial gases product lines or applications, with a track record of market building and value-added sales.
• Applications Process Engineering experience is a plus.
• Experience with OEMs and key accounts is a plus.

Knowledge:
• Strong knowledge of Industrial Gases products and/or related applications.
• Excellent command of the local language and professional-level English.
• Very good knowledge of MS Office and CT applications.

Educational requirements:
• University degree—Technical/Engineering or equivalent experience.
• MBA with focus on Marketing, B2B, or B2C is an asset.
