About Us: We are embarking on an exciting journey with the creation of the Industrial Flow Division.
Industrial Flow South America is looking for an experienced Business Controller, with proven track record within one or more Companies in Atlas Copco and with an international background. Having being part of integration processes of acquired companies is considered as an extra bonus. The aim is to support the Customer Center to grow and implement the future ways of working within Industrial Flow divisions in Power Technique Business Area.
Your Role:
The Mission will be to ensure adequate internal control processes are in place whilst taking the role as strategic business partner in the company, creating value through excellent guidance and support which assists management to make informed decisions that help drive business strategy and continuously seek better ways to do things to grow the business.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting in accordance with The Way We Do Things and the business requirements.
- Promote digitalisation in the finance department to drive change and create efficient, best practice processes.
- Lead a customer focused finance department which supports the business to be outward looking and responsive to customers’ expectations and needs.
- Understand the key drivers of the organization and how internal changes can impact the overall performance.
- Build strong internal relationships which lead to greater trust and greater influence in decision making.
- Act as a catalyst in driving initiatives critical to delivering business strategy.
- Establish a culture that encourages behaviours and actions to embrace growth, change and innovation.
- Create early warning indicators to anticipate any deviations in future expectations.
- Proactively improve and develop our business control and analysis processes. Ensure high-quality reporting is delivered within deadlines.
- Prepare monthly analytical reports, ensuring effective presentations of data and scorecards
You will report to the General Manager in Industrial Flow South America, located in Brazil.
Some travel may be required.
Experience requirements in accounting and business controlling.
- Operational experience within the Finance and Controlling domain is a must.
- Knowledge of other related processes and/or domains (e.g. Order to Invoice, Demand to Supply, Project to Realize, etc.) is considered a plus.
- Knowledge of TOTVS is a strong advantage.
- Experience of working in a multicultural environment is considered a plus.
- Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken. More languages are a plus.
- 5-8 years relevant experience.
- Proficiency in MS-Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Understanding of accounting principles and IFRS
Educational requirements
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in either Finance & Accounting, Business Administration, IFRS or Applied Economics, or equivalent experience required.
