HR Generalist

Your role
The HR Generalist will execute and manage core HR operations—including recruitment, employee lifecycle administration, payroll coordination, compliance, and employee support—ensuring accurate, timely, and consistent delivery of HR services that enable a stable, compliant, and effectively supported workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver full-cycle recruitment for assigned roles, resulting in timely placement of qualified talent aligned to business needs and workforce demands.
- Administer all employee lifecycle processes from hire through separation with accuracy and consistency, resulting in a seamless employee experience and compliant documentation.
- Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing through effective coordination, data validation, and issue resolution, resulting in correct employee pay and minimal payroll discrepancies.
- Administer leave and compliance programs (e.g., NY PFL, FMLA, ADA) with accuracy and timeliness, resulting in compliant case execution, consistent employee experience, and reduced organizational risk.
- Maintain accurate HR systems, records, and transactions, resulting in reliable data for reporting, compliance, and business decision-making.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee HR inquiries, providing timely and accurate guidance, resulting in high employee satisfaction and reduced escalation to senior HR.
- Manage routine employee relations matters through consistent application of policies and thorough documentation, resulting in timely resolution and minimized organizational risk.
- Identify and implement improvements to HR processes and workflows, resulting in increased efficiency, reduced manual effort, and scalable HR operations.
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and company policies through proactive monitoring and guidance, resulting in full compliance and minimized regulatory or financial risk.
- Support development initiatives and workforce programs (e.g., onboarding, internships, skills tracking) to strengthen organizational capability, resulting in improved productivity and internal talent pipeline growth.
- Perform other relevant duties as assigned.

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- 3–5 years of hands-on HR experience in an operational or generalist capacity, preferably supporting a manufacturing workforce in a multi-state environment
- PHR or SPHR Certification preferred but not required.
- Experience with full-cycle recruitment, employee lifecycle administration, and payroll/timekeeping
- Working knowledge of FMLA, NY PFL, NY Short/Long Term DBL, ADA
- HRIS Experience, preferably Dayforce
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- High Level of confidentiality
- Able to travel locally as needed

Salary Range: $79,000-$89,000/year
