Your role

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound shipments while maintaining the accuracy and integrity of serial number records, asset configurations, and parent-child equipment hierarchies throughout the product lifecycle. 

 

Main Responsiblities:

Logistics Coordination

  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including transportation scheduling and carrier selection.
  • Prepare and manage shipping, import, export, and customer-required documentation.
  • Track shipments, resolve transportation issues, and communicate status updates across teams.
  • Process and maintain shipment data and logistics transactions within SAP.
  • Ensure compliance with customer requirements, import/export regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by monitoring shipping performance and identifying process efficiencies.

Serial Number & Asset Hierarchy Management

  • Create, maintain, and validate serial number records within SAP and related business systems.
  • Establish and maintain parent-child relationships between FRAME systems, CEPs, assemblies, subassemblies, and components.
  • Ensure serial number genealogy and asset hierarchies remain accurate throughout the equipment lifecycle.
  • Maintain complete traceability of equipment from receipt through shipment and customer installation.
  • Investigate and resolve serial number discrepancies, missing records, and hierarchy inconsistencies.
  • Support asset transfers, upgrades, rebuilds, field returns, and decommissioning activities.

Asset Configuration Control

  • Maintain accurate asset configuration and installed-base records.
  • Validate equipment structures against approved Bills of Material (BOMs), engineering documentation, and manufacturing records.
  • Ensure configuration changes are properly documented and recorded.
  • Support internal, customer, and regulatory audits related to equipment traceability and configuration management.
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Warehouse, and Service teams to ensure accurate asset records.

ERP & Inventory Management

  • Process serial number, inventory, receiving, shipping, and logistics transactions within SAP.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory movements, asset locations, shipments, and equipment configurations.
  • Generate reports and metrics related to serial number accuracy, shipment performance, asset traceability, and inventory accuracy.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of standard work instructions related to logistics and serialized asset management.
  • Support inventory accuracy initiatives and cycle count investigations involving serialized equipment.

Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor logistics performance, asset traceability metrics, and transactional accuracy to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Support process improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, inventory accuracy, logistics execution, and data governance.
  • Participate in ERP enhancement projects and operational improvement activities.
  • Assist in developing dashboards, KPIs, and reports related to logistics and serialized asset management.
  • Promote best practices in asset genealogy, configuration management, warehouse operations, and shipment execution.

Skills/ Knowledge/ Expierence:

Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years of experience in logistics, warehouse operations, inventory control, manufacturing, or asset management; or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a related field.
  • Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, or similar.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and time management skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn new processes and perform work accurately in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred

  • Experience managing serialized equipment or asset genealogy.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and Bill of Material (BOM) structures.
  • Experience with inventory control and warehouse management practices.
  • Familiarity with Power BI or other reporting tools.
  • Experience in semiconductor, industrial equipment, or high-tech manufacturing environments

Salary: $70,000-$80,000/annually
