Quality Technician
To succeed, you will need
- Supports the reduction in defective parts, process errors/inefficiencies and warranty costs
- Supports co-ordination and reporting of defects, including Quality Database and virtual job folders
- Implements incoming inspection plan, both internal and external (local source), doing incoming inspection, and submitting the NCR if there is a quality issue
- Implements in-process quality control, auditing the service process to ensure that our way can meet the requirements, submitting the NCR if there is anything out of order
- Supports the Quality System Engineer to do calibration, especially the torque wrench calibration
- Interacts with engineers, project managers, production workers, and stock personnel
- Properly identifies, documents, and processes conforming and non-conforming material
- Under minimal supervision, perform electrical and/or mechanical inspection, of incoming or outgoing materials, determining conformance to applicable specifications as indicated by the designated procedures and product specifications.
- Troubleshoots semi-conductor industry related testing activity discrepancies.
- Manage all manufacturing test data associated with customer acceptance testing (ATL) when applicable
- Interface with production/engineering personnel concerning inspection results.
Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
- High school diploma or GED; associate degree a plus
- 3-5 years Prior experience as a technician role in quality, manufacturing, manufacturing engineering, test, continuous improvement, or other related disciplin
- Must have a basic understand if ISO standards
- Familiarity with mathematical concepts such as geometry, trigonometry, ratios, fractions, and proportions
- Experience with Microsoft Office products particularly Excel
- Self-directed with strong written and verbal communication skills to communicate information to a broad range of functional groups such as Production, Manufacturing Engineering, Equipment Maintenance, R&D, Safety, etc.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional teams
- Experience in process-driven environments

Salary: $20.50-$24.00/hour
