Recruitment Specialist, Temporary

Your role
The Recruitment Specialist is a temporary, six-month position responsible for providing dedicated, full-cycle recruiting support during a period of significant workforce growth. The primary purpose of the role is to reduce the Company’s open-requisition backlog by prioritizing critical vacancies, developing qualified candidate pipelines, and moving candidates efficiently through the hiring process.
The Recruitment Specialist will partner closely with the HR Manager and hiring managers to understand immediate and projected staffing needs, deliver a positive candidate experience, and support the Company’s operational growth and sustainability.
You Will:
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for production, skilled trades, engineering, supply chain, quality, and other operational roles.
- Partner with the HR Manager and hiring managers to prioritize open requisitions and understand position requirements.
- Source, screen, and present qualified candidates using job boards, direct outreach, referrals, agencies, and other recruiting channels.
- Coordinate interviews, candidate communication, offer preparation, pre-employment requirements, and transition to onboarding.
- Build and maintain candidate pipelines for high-volume, recurring, and difficult-to-fill positions.
- Maintain accurate recruiting records and provide regular updates on requisition status, hiring activity, and recruiting metrics.
- Ensure recruiting activities comply with Company policies and applicable employment laws.

Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
- Associate’s Degree focused in Business Administration, Human Resources, Psychology or related field; or a High School Diploma & equivalent years‘ experience in a Human role.
- Preferrably 1-2 years experience in full-cycle recruiting or a fast-paced administrative enviroment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Must have a strong attention to detail.
- Able to handle heavy workloads, prioritize own work and deal with confidential and sensitive information.
- A flexible approach, able to cope with a constantly changing environment and priorities.
- Ability to work independently, while also being able to judge when additional support is required.
- Ability to listen and communicate carefully and with empathy – emotional intelligence.

Salary: $70,000-$80,000/year
This is a temporary, full-time position anticipated to last approximately six months. The position has been created to provide dedicated recruiting support during a period of significant hiring activity. Continuation or conversion to a regular position is not guaranteed.
Job location
This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our Saugerties, NY location.
