Senior Business Analyst
The Senior Business Analyst enables revenue growth and profitability in GV CC SEA by transforming data into actionable financial and commercial insights. The role report to Business Controller.
Main Responsibilities:

- SEA Cluster Performance Management
- Own and consolidate SEA performance scorecards across all Business Lines.
- Deliver insightful month‑end and periodic analysis covering Sales, Gross Margin, OPEX, EBIT, working capital, and cash.
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and proactively drive deep‑dive analyses to support management actions.
- Financial Planning & Forecasting
- Support the Business Controller in annual planning, rolling forecasts, and strategic scenario modelling.
- Develop and maintain driver‑based planning and forecasting models to improve accuracy, transparency, and consistency across SEA.
- Challenge assumptions and highlight upside/downside risks to support informed decision‑making.
- Business & Commercial Decision Support
- Act as a finance business partner to Sales, Service, and Business Line leaders.
- Evaluate pricing, margin, profitability, customer portfolio, and investment/business cases.
- Translate analytical findings into clear recommendations with a focus on revenue growth, margin expansion, and return on investment.
- Analytics, Power BI & Reporting Enablement
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Power BI dashboards and analytical tools for SEA.
- Lead automation of recurring reports to improve speed, reliability, and self‑service access to insights.
- Establish best practices for analytics design, data modelling, and visualization in line with business needs and Group standards.
- Master Data Ownership & Data Governance
- Act as finance owner for key master data and analytical structures (e.g. customer, product, pricing, cost objects, hierarchies, KPI definitions).
- Define and govern standard data definitions, business logic, and calculation rules across SEA.
- Partner with SSC, IT, and local teams to improve data quality, consistency, and usability for reporting, forecasting, and analytics.
- Cross‑SEA Standardization
- Build and maintain standardized reporting packs, KPIs, and analytical frameworks across the region.
- Support harmonization of finance and reporting processes with existing SEA roles (Business Controllers, Analysts, Accountants).
- Document key reporting and analytics processes and ensure alignment with Group requirements.
- Business Partnering
- Work closely with Business Line Managers, Country Managers, and functional leaders to support performance discussions and decisions.
- Act as a trusted sparring partner, challenging results, assumptions, and actions using data‑driven insights.
- Improve financial and analytical transparency across the organization.
- Continuous Improvement & Capability Building
- Initiate and lead continuous improvements in analytics, reporting, forecasting, and data quality.
- Promote a “One SEA Finance” mindset and drive sharing of best practices across countries and Business Lines.
- Contribute to building analytical capabilities within the SEA finance community.

Knowledge & Skills
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Data Analytics or similar.
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
- Highly proficient in Power BI, Excel, and data transformation tools.
- Knowledge of SAP, BPC, or other ERP/BI systems is an advantage.
- Good understanding of financial statements and business drivers.

Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in FP&A, business analysis, commercial finance, or data analytics.
- Experience in regional reporting or supporting multiple countries is preferred.
- Exposure to industrial / B2B environment is an advantage.
