Your role

As a Payroll Specialist, CSK (Maternity Leave Replacement), you will be responsible for processing all aspects of payroll, including managing company budgets and expenses.

Work closely with department manager and different departments to to advise payroll practice and provides. 

Reports to HR Operations Manager regarding all payroll operations activities in Korea, required to be pro-active in promoting C&B scheme using the knowledge base to help to build relationships and thereby promote the business.

 

  • Based in Korea as domestic role with organization comprises over 500 employees 
  • Calculates payroll amounts using the local payroll system, including overtime, deductions, variable compensation, sales commissions, and other relevant components.
  • Calculate the correct amount incorporating base monthly salary, overtime allowance, variable compensations, deductions including income & residence tax, social insurance, relevant allowance etc. with assistance of a local HR ERP system. (Duzone ERP10)
  • Maintain social insurances such as national pension, medical insurance, unemployment insurance, industrial accident insurance and penalty on unemployment of disabled employees and arrange each payment in timely manner.  
  • Address issues and questions regarding payroll from employees and superiors. 
  • Ensures that employee payroll is processed accurately and on time, and obtains required management approvals for payments.
  • Administers monthly income and residence tax payments and coordinates year‑end tax adjustments for all employees.
  • Calculates DC/DB pension contributions, ensures regular funding, and manages payout processes for departing employees.
  • Calculates annual leave entitlements for all employees and processes payments for unused leave.
  • Maintains complete and accurate personnel records, updates both the local HRIS and HR Link, and performs regular data integrity reviews.
  • Manages the Time & Attendance system, gathers overtime and annual leave data for payroll processing, and adjusts system configurations based on business requirements.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field
  • 5 years of HR experience, including at least 3 years specializing in payroll, particularly in compensation and benefits 
  • Knowledge of statutory requirements related to country compensation and benefit administration in order to ensure company compliance 
  • Service‑oriented mindset with the ability to be assertive and persuasive when needed
  • Must be able to handle sensitive and confidential information 
  • High-level skills in numerical and statistical analysis 
  • Prefer good at communication skill in English

This role requires you to work on-site at our office in Bundang-gu, Seongnam City, KR.
