Graduate Intern - Customer Service Support

Your Role

Bring your curiosity to work as our next Graduate Intern - Customer Service. You will be part of our Customer Service team, supporting customers across Malaysia and Singapore. In this role, you will help champion a customer-focused culture that supports the Group's vision of being "First in Mind and First in Choice." You will work closely with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure efficient order processing, timely communication, and an outstanding customer experience throughout the customer journey.
Fresh graduates with a Degree in Business Administration, Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, Marketing, Communications, or a related field are encouraged to apply. This 12-month Graduate Interns Program offers hands-on exposure to:
- Customer service operations and best practices
- CRM systems and order management processes
- Customer relationship management
- Sales and service support activities
- Cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Logistics, Procurement, Operations, and Technical teams
- Continuous improvement and customer satisfaction initiatives
Your day-to-day

- Receive purchase orders (POs) from the Equipment Sales team and process customer orders accurately in the CRM system (C4C).
- Monitor and manage customer orders throughout the order processing cycle.
- Communicate proactively with customers and sales teams via email and phone regarding order updates and inquiries.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by addressing questions, requests, and concerns professionally and promptly.
- Support efforts to improve customer satisfaction and enhance the customer experience across Malaysia and Singapore.
- Work closely with Frontline Sales and Business Line Managers to support customer requirements before, during, and after a purchase.
- Coordinate with Sales Personnel, Business Line Managers, and Credit Control teams on credit check requirements.
- Ensure timely execution of all customer orders and support initiatives to maintain outstanding order management performance.
- Collaborate with Sales and Customer Master Data teams to maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information.
- Liaise with Logistics, Procurement, Operations, and Technical teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and service delivery.
- Identify and escalate customer service issues proactively while supporting effective resolution.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
Your skills and experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred) is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Power BI, Power Automate, or other business intelligence tools is a plus.
- Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
- Knowledge of Incoterms and trade compliance is advantageous.
- Strong customer orientation with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of customer service principles, practices, and professional etiquette.
- Good administrative and documentation management skills.
